Calik, who currently plays for Konyaspor, was involve in a car accident while driving alone near Ankara on Tuesday morning. which is the day the ufabet agency does not practice. The accident happened at 9 a.m. local time when Chalik’s car lost control and overturned on Ankara-Nikde Road. This caused a horrifying loss that immediately killed the scene.
The 27-year-old defender, who died at the age of 27, played for big club Galatasaray between 2017 and 2020. After capturing eight caps for Turkey between 2015 and 2017 and was name in the squad for Euro 2016. And then moved to Konyaspor from 2020 onwards. For Chalik, he made his name in the Turkish football league at an early age. He has been in the Turkish national team since U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19, U-20, U-21 all the way to the senior national team.
Calik began his career with Ankara club Genclerbirligi before transferring to Galatasaray in 2017. He joined Konyaspor in 2020.
He played for Turkey’s national team eight times since 2015, according Fanatik newspaper.
A funeral was planned for later on Tuesday in Ankara’s Elmadag district.
Konyaspor has requested that its Turkish league game against Medipol Basaksehir on Saturday be postponed, Anadolu reported.
